Granville’s Streaking Symphony 24×32″ Canvas

The Orpheum Theatre basks in the nocturnal glow of downtown Vancouver. The glowing sign’s grandeur is amplified by the dynamic light trails of a city bus, weaving a tapestry of urban energy.

Placing my camera on the street and crouching under a parked car for protection from the oncoming traffic, I waited patiently for a bus, knowing they create the best light trails. The resulting long exposure photo is an attempt to create a symphony of both light and movement.
